Social Media Sites' Terms of Service are Confusing for People

How many of us have actually read through the "terms of service" that we all must acknowledge whenever we join a new site or service?  Moreover, if we have tried to read those 'terms of service" how many of us actually understand what we're being asked to agree to?  A new study from Georgia Tech entitled "Copyright Terms in Online Creative Communities" of the "top 30 social and fan creation sites" (from Facebook to Twitter to Pinterest) confirms that Terms of Service agreements are difficult for the average person to read, oftentimes requiring the reading level of a college sophomore.
